The West
The Casela Nature and Leisure Park is a major attraction in this part of the country. The wonderful bird life from around the world is particularly attractive to children. Lately, additions of African mammals - tigers, Casela Nature and Leisure Park leopards, gnus and gazelles have given a "zoo slant" to the park.
The road along the coast reveals a number of fishing villages and leads to the Black River National Park. At Case Noyale, leave the coastal road: through a series of loops and swoops up the mountain, you will reach Chamarel, home to a geological quirk - mound after mound of coloured earths. |
